Founded in the early 1930s & originally including Roy Rogers, The Sons of the Pioneers have won the hearts of millions with their harmonious mix of cowboy & country songs, many of which were written by original member Bob Nolan. The 34 recordings presented here are from their 1950s radio show "The Lucky U Ranch," nationally broadcast from Hollywood every weekday, featuring Lloyd Perryman, Tommy Doss, Ken Curtis & Betty Taylor, with a guest appearance by Bob Nolan.
